Chris Roy was the co-founder and President of Royalmount Capital Inc., a Niagara based, independent mortgage brokerage firm, involved in the mortgage industry for nearly 20 years. In 2010, after two decades of operating his own company, he decided to join forces with Argentum Mortgage and Finance Corp. The move to such a forward thinking, technologically advanced brokerage gave him a much broader array of tools and products to offer all of his clients and referral partners. In 2005 Chris attained the prestigious Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation, the country's largest and most respected network of mortgage professionals, dedicated to strong ethics, high industry standards and continued education. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business; Economics (B.B.E.) from Brock University, St. Catharines, Ontario. In 2004, Chris was the recipient of the prestigious '40 under 40 Business Achievement Award', awarded to outstanding individuals in the Niagara Region who are making their mark in business and who contribute regularly to their respective communities.
